This picture is dated October 30, 2007, the day before we inaugurated Indus College of Engineering by admitting its first batch of students. Sitting on ground are (from left) - Medha, Bheema, Harsha, Mythili and Naisha. Standing (from left) are me (Ravi), Megha, Sujatha, Brinda, Raja, Rama, PP Reddy and Manjali. Seated in the center are my parents - Peddinti Butchi Reddy and Sita. This was a rare opportunity when all the family members of my parents could get together for a photograph.
We siblings are me, Rama and Raja. The pairs are Ravi-Sujatha with our children Medha, Harsha and Bheema. Rama and PP Reddy with their daughters Manjali and Megha. Raja and Brinda with their daughters Mythili and Naisha.

This is the first entry in a blog where I plan to document as many members of my extended family as humanly possible. For many years I have playing with this project but could not think of a good format. Then this afternoon, it hit me!! A blog would be just the ideal way to document whatever I know about our family history and its members. May be I can also add briefs about the various events - births, deaths, marriages, etc. etc.
The persons you see in this picture from left to right are my wife, Sujatha, my son, Bheema, yours truly in the center, my daughter, Harsha, and my eldest kid, Medha. I have named my children Medha-Harsha-Bheema for the Sanskrit names meaning Intelligence-Happiness-Strength. As I post this, Medha has just entered Class IX and the twins have graduated to "Standard One" as they proudly proclaim to anyone who bothers to listen.
